17 secondary Drukians accompanied by HPE instructors Mr. Sonam Tshering & Jonathan Redman participated in Cross-Country Marathon organised by Bhutan Amateur Athletic Federation (BAAF) under Thimphu Thromde on Saturday, August 26th , 2017 at Dechencholing, Thimphu. The race was of two categories; 6 kilometers for classes VI-VIII and 8 kilometers for classes IX-XII. Over 200 participants from 20 different schools took part out of which Kinley Yangden of Class VIII-A from Druk School came second runners up in the 6 km category. Congratulations Kinley! you made us proud and congrats to all the participants for successfully completing the race.  |
