The disaster caused by natural calamities, are far from possible to combat, yet one can be prepared to escape. Druk School management team lead by Lopen Dechen Namgyal once again created awareness in the Druk family at this morning assembly about how to behave when unwelcome disaster such as earthquakes strike. The reasons for and importance of such mock drills were explained while the basic points emphasized was the necessity to be safe. The Search and Rescue Team (SAR) consisting both senior students and teachers was deployed when the alarm was sounded in the midst of first period. The alarming siren scared the little ones and seniors were thrilled, however the intended objectives of heightening awareness were achieved and obvious on the premise.   |
