As per the announcement made by MoHCA dated 13 March, 2014, "The International Day of Happiness on 20th March will not be celebrated as a national holiday. Instead it shall be only observed as the international day of Happiness. GNH Day will be celebrated on 11th November coinciding with His Majesty the Fourth Druk Gyalpo’s Birth Anniversary."
