Druk School is once again proud to announce our student Tshering Yangchen of class VIII-A, won a gold medal in 2nd International Taekwondo Championship tournament held in Thimphu on 20th - 22nd May 2016. Tshering Yangchen was also awarded Best Fighter in Junior Girls weight division of Under 54 Kilograms. Tshering Yangchen said that the competition was tough and victory a rare hope. However following the rules and displaying the skills Tshering Yangchen added another gold medal to her winning streak. Proud mentor Mr. Tarun K. Balampaki also celebrated the joyous moment of success. Despite his quite nature, his inner message of the benefits of Youths Participation in sports and games screamed out. Congratulations!  |
