Examination Policy

In line with the Government Policy of conducting the examination in a fair & just manner, all the School Examination at Druk School will be conducted & coordinated by the Examination Committee

    1. A student with a minimum of 90% attendance will be eligible to appear for the annual examination.
    2. A student would be eligible to appear for a missed exam on production of a medical certificate validated by a team of doctors.
    3. Entry into the examination hall on production of  student ID card makes a student eligible to enter the exam hall.

Assessment Endorsement Policy

Academic Board meeting will be held to endorse the assessment records and the  result of the  Annual Examination.

Promotion to the next grade will be based on the following criteria: -

PP – III

1.       Every student of classes PP – III must have 50% in the subjects offered at their level. He/ She must pass in four subjects Dzongkha/Hindi, English, Mathematics and EVS.

2.      Promotion would be done on the following  basis :

2.1    50% Formative assessment & 50% summative assessment

2.2  Attainment of 20%  minimum in the formative assessment as a pre requisite to take the Annual Examinations

 

IV-IX

  1. Every student must have 40% in all the major Subjects (Dzongkha/Hindi, English & Mathematics). However students failing in any one minor subject but having an aggregate of 50% may be considered.
  2. Promotion would be done on the following  basis :

2.2  Attainment of 20%  minimum in the formative assessment is a pre- requisite to take the Annual  Examinations.
