Dear Parents, I am sure that all of you are happier now, ushering in the beautiful months of Spring, with beautiful bright days, slight drizzle with a nip in the air in the early morns and late evenings! There is so much of beauty all around us with new growth and new hopes! We at Druk School also have seen a lot of vibrant growth in your children and we have great hopes in them .Therefore, to celebrate their growth for the past two months, we would like to share their first learning and growth through the Annual School Sports on 29th April,2012. Therefore, we would be most happy to have you amongst us on this great day! The venue is the school ground and the time of arrival is 7. 30 Am., for you and your child! Enjoy the Spring and let’s get the best of the spring day by starting early to catch the freshness of the early Spring morning and also to ensure protection from the hot afternoon, especially for the children! Please do come prepared with umbrellas, sun caps and tons of suncreme! For your convenience, a food court will be also set so that one can take a quick bite and a drink in case one misses the breakfast, since I believe many of the city dwellers find the 7.30am timing too unearthly! The children may be also fed as per the timings announced by the MC during the day! Before I forget, no food should be taken to the ground. We would have some designated dining areas next to the food court! Thank you! One big worry is the parking space and we would once again appeal to parents to car pool, or ask someone to drop and pick you later, or walk if you are closer to school! Considering that we have not yet achieved the standard for parents’ participation in school programmes, with most parents leaving before the completion of the programme, we have not invited any Chief Guest! Cannot afford to take the risk to discredit the school culture and ethos in front of external visitors! My children and staff work extremely hard to be the best school! So, see you on 29th and let’s be there for the children, who are really excited in having you all with them! |
